New Updates on the Plaxico Burress Story
Well, now there are some unsettling stories starting to come out about Plaxico Burress. I'm not sure if they are related to why he was MIA on Monday, but you have to be concerned whenever you hear the words "domestic dispute".
According to NorthJersey.com, Burress and his wife were involved in two domestic disputes in the off-season.
Records show Tiffany Burress called police on June 2 following what she said was an argument with her husband. When officers arrived, she claimed he had grabbed her. He, in turn, said his wife slapped him in the face.
Here is the full story from NorthJersey.com
I'm sure there will be more on this tomorrow, we'll be sure to bring it to you.

Oh man
This is getting worse. If this has to do with his absence, then he doesn’t have a leg to stand on in any appeal. Maybe its best if Plax stays home for a couple of weeks and gets his house in order. We’ll be fine without. I’m not looking forward to this media circus.

Let's not
jump to any conclusions. There is no current report of anything. When there is, then we deal with it.

I agree
He’s innocent until proven guilty. Look at some of the other celebrity domestic disputes, like Baldwin/Basinger, McCartney/Mills, Federline/Spears, and Sheen/Richards. All were very ugly and there were issues on both sides. A-Rod seemed to be an exception to the trend.

well sure, we don't know if he's done anything wrong
But like I said, you just never want to hear the words “domestic dispute”.

This explains alot...
I feel as though Plaxico Burress has been plagued by too much money from his new lucrative contract. This money maybe bringing corruption for his personal life (Not saying that his wife is Innocent either). Moreover, having domestic disputes with his wife has also cause a distraction on the field. My evidence is Sunday’s game: I was really curious why He had missed catches that should have been easily caught. Even though he had two-man coverage on him, there was still few easy catches that were miss.(Excluding the catch in the OT) However, maybe getting away from New Jersey can bring his concentration back to football land. Any comments???

this can be said of any professional athlete
The stuff with Burress domestic calls seems reasonably mild. They didn’t arrest him, which SOP if the cops think any assult took place.

about 20% of marriages have these problems....
I googled it. I was surprised that the numbers are so high for this kind of violence. So I suppose it happens to 20% of NFL marriages too. Here is the link….

chris rock
It sounds like that old Chris Rock routine. “I’d never hit a woman. But I’d shake the shit out of her”. Sounds like she slapped him when he did that.
