Here is your Monday Night Football Open Thread. It's Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles, but how can you be happy about either team winning? Can't they both lose?

let's hope it's a low scoring comedy of errors.
Then maybe somebody in the national media will recognize the greatness that is Big Blue!

Autodraft
took Tony Romo in my fantasy league, and I’m down 21 points coming into tonight against an opponent who has the Eagles defense, so I’m hoping for a HIGH scoring comedy of errors
Damn, Felix Jones just returned that to the house. The Eagles are gonna need to start getting into the end zone if they wanna keep up with the Cowboys. They are looking explosive.

i took Barber-Romo with my first 2 picks
it just worked out that way. i play fantasy football with my head and not my heart. that being said, this is going to be a miserable fantasy season. i can’t help but root for Romo to throw an interception everytime he drops back.

I draft with my head over my heart most of the time
but the team the autodraft gave me is overboard. I’ve got Romo, Portis, Kevin Curtis, Shockey, and Ocho Cinco. I feel dirty having all those guys on the same roster.

an observation
i know it’s just 2 games, but doesn’t the NFC East clearly look like the best division in football (and it’s not close). we’ve been hearing so much about the AFC dominance, but is there really that big of a gap between San Diego, Indy, New England, Pittsburgh over Dallas, Philly, NY and Green Bay right now?

completely agree
I think the Giants, Eagles, and Cowboys are all potential top 5 teams

this is game is wildly enertaining
but is making me really nervous about both of these teams.

well
it’s certainly living up to the comedy of errors we were hoping for.
While marvelling at the offensive prowess of these two teams, one thing we should remember: the Giants defense shut down the greatest offense in the history of the sport last year in the biggest game of the year. If they could shut down Brady and the Pats, they can shut down Romo and the Boys and McNabb and the Iggles.

DeSean Jackson
just made an all-time bonehead play. Lucky for him, the Eagles still scored.

that really was incredibly dumb
but in the grand scheme of things, the only thing it affects are fantasy teams. Imagine if you had Jackson, your opponent has Westbrook, and you end up losing by like 3. That would suck…

Both teams
are very good. But, so are the Giants.

well this proves that Philly's offense
is the real deal and that last week against the Rams wasn’t such a high score just because it was the Rams. That makes me a little nervous. Philly with a passing game is dangerous. It looks to me like Romo’s being a little too tender holding onto that ball… Thoughts of Jessica perhaps? I agree that the Nfc east is definately the best division in pro sports at the moment. Look at what Washington was able to do to the Aints yesterday

Geesh
Blink and you miss big plays in this game. These offense are looking awfully scary, especially with McNabb looking frisky. But, the Giants are pretty darn good.

yikes! It's a one score game!
I’m going to head down to the bar to catch the second half… One of the upsides of this matchup is no matter who wins I won’t feel bad chastising the fans of the losing team;)

World class defenses?
And we’re crowning these two already?
Pfft.

nods to ETVal
Blue can beat both these teams but the trick is going to be avoiding complacency in a soft first 6 weeks of the season. I have faith based on what i’m seeing on the field and hearing in press conferences that that’s not going to happen

You're just
being nice to me because you won a copy of TC’s book. LOL!

Both QBs are susceptible to a heavy rush,
but they seem to be getting plenty of time. So, I’m wondering whether the O-lines are really good or are the D-lines not very good.

Dawkins
One of those players I hate, but I have a ton of respect for. That guy is a monster out there.

Neither Team
Scares me. Where was the defense last night?
Talent aside, neither team played musch defense in the first half.(only half I saw) I think the Giants could score just as much and squash the Offense.
