'The Tyree catch' is always worth looking at again
Any excuse to watch the David Tyree catch is a good one. And, since the Giants and New England Patriots meet tonight in a pre-season game, that's a perfect excuse.

Destiny
It’s amazing to me that Manning wasn’t pulled down during that play and Harrison couldn’t get enough of a hand on that ball to knock it loose. A million to one and they made it happen. A great moment for Giants fans.

I still get sick. n/t
As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about. --Shaun of the Dead

Best play I ever saw
This is probably the 4,735th time I’ve watched it over the past 8 months, but for some reason, I never noticed that Harrison actually may have saved the play in a way, b/c of the way he landed under Tyree. That super slo-mo at the end shows it: had Harrison not landed directly under Tyree, the way Tyree was coming down, I think the ball might have hit the ground and either been knocked loose or at least have been up to interpretation for the refs to call it a trap.

Very true
The nose of the ball came sooooo close to touching the ground. Has to be the most amazing catch I’ve ever seen, and there are so many ways it could have gone wrong.

I watched the final drive....
…in its entirety the other night (yes, I still have the game stored on my DVR). I’m amazed, when I rewatch it, that I was able to view it live w/o having a coronary. We had a 4th & 1, and I think three long 3rd downs. Eli had some really close calls (near-interceptions, and one near-fumble).
It’s amazing that the guy who put together that final drive is the same guy who played the WORST GAME I’VE EVER SEEN FROM A QB against the Vikings several weeks earlier.
Can’t wait for next Thursday!

Amazing
Now that I look back on it, I wasn’t having a coronary on the final drive either. I kept saying “Come on El, you can do this”. I knew he could. He had a lot of help, but that fact is very comforting.
