J-Load gets a new job
Just a quick note while I digest my lunch. Somehow, that's appropriate considering the subject of this quick post.
Jared Lorenzen, the former Giant backup QB, has landed another NFL gig. The Hefty Lefty has signed with the Indianapolis Colts to compete for a backup role behind Peyton Manning.
Yep. From backing up one Manning to backing up the other one.
Actually, we still have no idea if Lorenzen can play quarterback in the NFL. We do, know, however, that he sure is good at sitting around, rooting for a Manning and getting his mug in those sideline shots the TV cameras take during timeouts.
Good luck, J-Load.

Indianapolis
Just became the best Quarterback sneak team in the NFL. I wish we had kept him over Wright who I suppose will be gone anyway. Good luck to the big guy.
We're only gonna score 17 points?

Speaking for fat guys everywhere
Best of luck to J-load
This guy is going to make a career out of holding clipboards for Mannings

Clipboards
Hey, I’m left-handed, played QB in grade school and can hold a clipboard, too. Geesh, I might even be able to run a QB sneak a couple times a year. Can I get that job?

Good luck to him
I hope he beats out Jim Sorgi so he can get the inevitable “Week 17 start while the Colts rest their starters to make sure they aren’t ready for the playoffs”

I figured he'd wind up somewhere.
I’m sorry he never got a chance to show what he could do. Despite whatever faults he might have (I have no way of knowing what they might be) he’s got a great arm. The Giants must have thought he had a lot to offer to keep him so long. I was surprised they moved Wright ahead of him and then released him. I have to believe lack of game experience was the deciding factor. Like everyone else I wish him the best.

Makes you wonder....
Why doesn’t he make the effort to get down to 260lbs? His release is a little slow but he is pretty accurate and throws the long ball effortlessly.

Makes you wonder...
Why no one tried to convert him into a Guard
Okay, just so I understand it... in your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.
