Remember the Good Times with Shock
like this sick catch against the Eagles in 2002 which clinched a playoff berth during the regular season finale at Giants Stadium.
remember Shockey coming down with the ball and just nodding his head on the ground while he was laying next to a defeated Brian Dawkins? probably one of my top five favorite Giants moments ever. that year, Shockey shattered Mark Bavaro's record for receptions with 74 in his rookie season (if you're feeling especially nostalgic, Tiki fumbled three times in that game vs. Philly. ah, memories).
sometimes a move is made which is beneficial for both sides. instead of trashing on Shockey, who was a great player that always played his ass off, let's just move on. i think Kevin Boss has proven he can be a starter, and i'm confident Reese (and Couglin) will find a way to make it work.
good luck Shock. hopefully we won't have to see you in the postseason.

not always be defending tiki
But that is one of my favorite Giants games prior to last season, just a classic NFC East battle. I loved that Shockey play, just landing, and you could practically hear him talking trash… “yeah that’s right I got it”, the karmic payback from that vicious cheap shot on Hilliard the season before. But I also remember not only did Tiki fumble 3 times, he fumbled the very first play of the overtime. eh i’m tired of defending Tiki, I just remember he had about 90% of the overtime production some how still willed us to win that game despite the fumbles.
I’m on the fence whether I’d boo Shockey or not. I do love that play

My favorite
Shockey moment came after a vicious collision ( forgot who)in which Shock hung on to the ball, both guys seemed to be knocked out but Jeremy got up woozy and swung his arm around his arm Pete Townsend style ending with the first down signal. Good times!
We're only gonna score 17 points?
