Giants News and Notes
The New York Giants have signed third-round pick Mario Manningham. According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, the Michigan wide receiver signed a four-year deal.
That leaves only the top two picks, first-rounder Kenny Phillips and second-rounder Terrell Thomas, as unsigned draft choices. With training camp beginning in a little more than a week, that is good news.
BRADSHAW FREE: Running back Ahmad Bradshaw has completed his 30-day stay in a Virginia jail for an apparent parole violation. The question now is whether or not Bradshaw will face a suspension from the NFL.
I hope that doesn't happen, but it's impossible to speculate on. The real details of Bradshaw's incarceration aren't clear, so it's really impossible to know how the league will handle it.

I have high hopes for the three rookies.
I want to see Reese sign the two unsigned one so they won’t miss a day of training camp. Let’s see what they can do!
I think a good case can be made for the NFL to hold off punishing Bradshaw. Keep your fingers crossed.

I agree
Especially if (as we all seemed to believe) Bradshaw was “cleaning up old business” and the jail time didn’t reflect any kind of new transgression.
