Tuesday morning tidbits
Here are a few items making the rounds today, Day 1 of the post-Jared Lorenzen era for the New York Giants.
Plaxico Burress has penned a book "Giants: The Road to the Super Bowl." Gee, how original. In it, Burress apparently details just how badly hurt he was from falling in the shower days before the Super Bowl, and says he has never been happy with his 6-year, $26 million contract.
I admire the guy's toughness, but nobody whining about a $26 million contract is getting sympathy from me.
Geoffrey Pope has apparently been cleared of any wrongdoing in a recent incident where a man was reportedly hit over the head with a champagne bottle.
Michael Strahan has been signed by FOX Sports to join their pre-game show. How is he going to get a word in with Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and Jimmy Johnson already there?

26 million dollars.....
and he can’t pay someone to bathe him?
If I had that kind of scratch, I’d be like Dom Deluise in History of the World Part I

Stray
I’m happy for Strahan because he deserves to be on TV, but why do the NFL studio shows think that more is better? It’s getting ridiculous. Pretty soon they’re going to need a stage like Hollywood Squares to get all these “experts” on TV in the same studio.

Very true
That is why the word ‘allegedly’ was part of my initial post on Pope.

While I don't like to toot my own horn tooo much
I will point out that while other posters were telling Pope not to let the door hit his ass, I said that I would withhold judgment until he was either charged or not

Door
Yes, maybe some were a tad hasty to say goodbye to Pope. But, that is what would have happened if he did end up facing felony charges.

Got to give you credit
for not jumping on the band wagon like me. It’s way too easy to presume guilt these days especially with athletes,
