A Truly Sad Day For The Giants

Because of obvious reasons, the Giants have Just officially announced that Jared Lorenzen is Gone. Including Lorenzen they waived 5 players; bringing the roster down to 81, one above of the training camp maximum of 80. Lorenzen's release leaves the Giants with 4 Quarterbacks.. Eli Manning, David Carr, Anthony Wright, and Andre Woodson.

I for one will miss seeing the hefty lefty on the sidelines, he looked so out of place.. but that was the great thing about Jared

Major bummer

I figured Woodson was a lock plus one of the more experienced guys, Wright or Carr, so it’s not unexpected. But still, it’s a shame. I wish they had tried some creative option plays with two QBs in the backfield, maybe even used him to block. I guess they couldn’t do that if he was the third QB most of the time.
