Strahan says goodbye

Mike Garafolo of the Star-Ledger is the man. From Garafolo's 'Ledger on Giants' blog here is video of Michael Strahan speaking during his retirement press conference today. Following that is Coach Tom Coughlin speaking about Strahan.

I was lucky enough to get Garafolo to answer some questions the other day, and with the Strahan retirement, the Jeremy Shockey stuff and the opening of mini-camp the timing couldn't be better. The interview I had with him will be posted here Wednesday morning. Now, on to the videos.

those were some great clips

but did Coughlin really say Strahan was the best Giant ever? I mean, there’s probably 20 teams in the NFL where Strahan WOULD be the best player ever for that team, but wasn’t Coughlin an assistant here when THE best defensive player of all-time was roaming the field for us? Not to put down Strahan, who is probably my favorite player ever, but LT still has him beat.

TC for that, I think, because he coached Strahan and not LT. Although, it is a silly thing to say.

TC was quoting Osi about the best Giant ever.

He was quoting what the players were saying about stray. Osi said he was the best Giant ever to him. Your right though, Stray would definetely be the best player on alot of other teams….
