The ring's the thing

The Giants received their Super Bowl rings last night. With that in mind, I think it's an appropriate day to listen to the Ryan Parker song below. It came out just before the game, but has a very cool, very prophetic feel now that we know what happened. Have a listen, and enjoy.

Last night

after watching Lost, I was flipping through my DVR to make sure I still had all the episodes saved on there, and decided to rewatch the final drive of the Super Bowl. Needless to say, it’s still awesome.

Just read on ESPN

that 2 notable players weren’t at the ring ceremony last night: Antonio Pierce, who is on his honeymoon (excusable) and Jeremy Shockey, for whom there was no listed reason why he wasn’t present. Considering Gibril and Kawika were both there, despite signing with other teams this offseason, and Kiwanuka was there despite being hurt and missing the postseason, this looks pretty bad for Shockey. Is he still sulking? I have to say, I’m getting really sick of him really quickly, and I hope the Giants don’t come to regret not trading him this offseason.

Shockey being Shockey

He probably is still sulking. Who knows? At one time this guy was my favorite Giant. Now, sadly, I could care less if he suits up again. I’m just tired of his immature, ‘me,me,me’ act.

Nice touch by the Jints

Giving Lt. Colonel Gadsen a ring. To me that just exemplifies what a classy organization the Giants are. Good stuff, and the ring is beeyooteefull

CJ, not to get off topic, but Lost was awesome last night
