Umm ... looks like I made a boo-boo
George Cronin has corrected me. Emlen Tunnell was a safety, not a corner. So, we will elect two cornerbacks and put Tunnell on the team as a safety. A couple of the sources I looked at had him listed as a corner. My fault.
I am getting chastised a bit for leaving Mark Collins off the balloting for cornerback. So, I will leave that up to you guys.
Use the poll to let me know if we should re-vote for the second slot, adding Collins to go up against whoever places second in the ongoing balloting. I will give you the weekend to vote on that.

I just looked him up multiple spots from google
It seems like he was a perenial all pro and averaged 6 or so ints per year! What kind of hitter was he? This counts to me at least. Williams delivered the biggest hit I ever saw in my life(in person) against I think it was Jimmy Smith from the Jaguars when TC was still their coach they met full speed at the moment of the catch and I “felt ” that hit 40 yards away ,layed him out flat. He also had the famous collision that broke Ed McCaffreys leg. I would more likely vote for the intimidating power hitter over the guy with big int numbers at least at the Safety position. Not so much at corner.

it was weird
He seemed like an elite safety for like 3-4 years and then all of sudden was gone.

Jimmy was better longer.
As queler points out, Williamz didn’t last as long as one would have liked.
