Jerry Jones calls out Marion Barber/ RBs and Run D
"He can play with that injured toe," Jones said. "He can play with the soreness, combination of those things. I see nothing that would have led us to believe that he couldn't."
I hate the Cowboys and this is good for us, but for anybody to question Marion Barber's talent or toughness is retarded to me, especially the OWNER to the media when what you want from your team is to band together and and win out to get to the playoffs!
And T.O. screaming at his wide receivers coach after Jason Witten's Shockey-esque game makes me wonder how long it'll be before T.O. pulls another T.O. and wants out.
Plax might've shot himself in the thigh but the Cowboys shoot themselves in the foot every week without fail.
A note for the rest of our season, I'm worried about the runningbacks we face, next week against the Cowboys we go up against Tashard Choice who we have 2 games of film, a guy who shredded Pittsburgh, then Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor, then DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. Our Run D can't play like it did against the Eagles this past week, especially against the Vikings and Panthers because AP DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart all have that ability to breakaway that scares the sh*t out of me.

This is just the medias interpretation of the comment...
And as usual it panders to those in the New York and Boston regions. Jones in no way called Barber out, and only implied that he was surprised MB3 couldn’t play. And by the way MB3 should be back next week so Choice will probably see his carries drop significantly.

Jerry Jones
is about 5 years away from turning into Al Davis, creepy wax-face and all. I can’t wait.

Oh, geez
Can you guys take this elsewhere? I really don’t want an argument between an Eagles fan and a Cowboys fan here.

The guy has lost two close playoff games.
People act like hes played in 10 playoff games and hasn’t won one. Eli lost his first two playoff games and Peyton lost his first three playoff games. Its only a matter of time before he has success in the playoffs and then Giant’s fans won’t have any argument to stand on.

until he wins a super bowl..
the giants will have an argument
It's not easy being Giants fan in Philly.. but it sure is satisfying

I'm actually in a minority of Giants fans
I have a very healthy respect for Tony Romo and think he’s one of the best QB’s in the league. But the fact is, NFL QB’s are rated based on playoff success, and to date Romo hasn’t had that

i'm in your camp CJ
Prime also has a good point. To be fair last year, was probably much more on the O-line and (my favorite Cowboy til the day I die) Crayton

actually
we’ll still be arguing till he gets that ring. And every time he loses it will only go back to him not being able to win the big one. Maybe Eli will be to Romo as Brady is to Peyton. That would be sweeeeet

It's not just the lack of success.
It’s the spectacular personal failures in the most crucial moments of those games that I focus on.
You play to win the game!

Interesting
I thought I had posted about a possible rift b/w Marion Barber and ownership, and voiced concern about our Run D given who we’re coming up against. I guess I should’ve named this the “bitch about the respective failures of your teams” strand.
