Well...
although we lost tonight it wasn't the end of the world. I didn't get to watch the game but I listened to some of it while working at a Christmas tree stand. Bob Papa and Carl Banks sounded disappointed the entire time. We were due for a stinker and as much as we all didn't wanna lose, we all kind of did. Now we have something to work on to improve.
Now onto the good news. I got off of work just in time for fireworks in Pitts. Where the Giants were able to contain and win the Cowboys who seemingly owned the game from the word Go, just found a way to lose. I was more happy watching the Cowboys lose then if the Giants won and so did they. We clinched the division and are a W away from a 1st round bye.
Terry you were wrong. All week long you were riding the Boys and you talked about how Ware and Barber will play and destroy, you were half right. You talked about how your coaches laid back style works. Sorry, when your team needed the most discipline, the most moxie, they exhibited nothing. Now you may still make the playoffs and win a ring, but your quest began tonight, and you guys failed. Please defend Romo, I know you will.
Go giants

aren't you kind of our Terry?
i see you talking smack on all the other sites.
you’d be more happy with a Dallas loss than a Giants win? that’s a Red Sox fan mentality.

HEY!
That Sox comment hurt me too! Because I’m that anomalous Sox/Giants fan. I just want to say that for 3 generations, Sox fans HAD to root for a Yankees loss, because it was OUT OF THE QUESTION that we’d win. Ergo, a Yanks loss was our World Series. I think all that’s over now. Although, that era may return as it appears the Yankees will be signing the 2008 Inter-League All Star team to fill out their new $42 trillion park…
You play to win the game!

If defending
myself and adding my 2 cents is Terry-esque then yea I guess your right. But I go to any site just to read peoples takes on their teams and ours. When someone is going to personally get after me, I won’t hesitate to reply. Noone should, one’s ability to prove a point when it comes to sports is what makes this stuff fun. Granted getting out of hand is not the best way to go, but sometimes it’s my way. Short temper and a NYC mentality will do that.
As for the Red Sox comment, that hurts lol. But in some way it makes me happy, b/c if they’re happy about the best franchise in professional sports losing, it means we strike fear in them (I’m implying that I have a healthy fear for the Girls).
Ed, apologies again. I’m not trying to get the boot, I really love this blog. It’s truly one of a kind. Trust me I’ve looked, every other Gints blog pales in comparison. If someone knows a good one, let me know.

Proud
Stay right here, my friend. Just be careful not to go looking for trouble. BTW, there is no better Giants blog than this one.
