Giants vs. Eagles
Hey, what does everyone thing about the game this weekend? I'm a little worried about the team this week because of the media circus they had to deal with. It's hard to say this whole Burress thing is not going to be a distraction, but the Giants are the kind of team that have a ton of veteran leaders. What is the breaking point though? They have lost Tiki, Strahan. Osi. Shockey, and now Burress. If this team somehow goes on and wins the Super Bowl again... Tom Coughlin is Jesus Christ hmself and this team may be one of the best "teams" of all time in any sport.

Nah
we already won a championship w/o Tiki and Shockey and we’ve gone 11-1 w/o Osi or Strahan. Burress wasn’t lighting anything up while becoming a distraction. Its simple addition by subtraction. If Coughlin was smart he will tinker w/ our O once we lock up the division. We should see a whole lot more of Sinorice Moss whose fresh legs will make him another deep threat. It should be fun to watch.

BLOWout
This game will be a blowout… if you remember last game we got to the red zone three times and settled for a FG, this time around we’ll convert those red zone trips and embarass the Eagles as the truly mediocre team that they are….. LETS GOOOO GIANTS

I obviously have an Eagle Bias...
but i think you’re pretty far off base by predicting this as a blowout… a giants win, maybe but at some point, the media circus will catch the Giants.
I know that you will laugh at this, but i think an Eagle blowout of the Giants is more likely than vis versa.
My prediction: Eagles 24 Gaints 21
an Eagles fan should be an Eagles fan during an 0-16 season

I'm going to the game
so hopefully they play well. I’ve seen them play the Eagles twice, and both times they’ve played very well. Ironically, both times I saw them play the Eagles the Giants went to the Super Bowl: I saw them in 2000 and last year (the record sacks game). Hopefully this year will continue the trend

There are reasons to be concerned
The Eagles are a good team – they stomped Arizona, and since that was Thursday, they have a couple of days extra rest.
Westbrook is feeling better, and the Giants have had distractions this week.
This is also a “must” game for the Eagles and not for the Giants.
So lets hope the Giants players haven’t been paying attention to the hype

Tom Coughlin is NOT Jesus Christ himself , why would you say that ??
but this is funny -

everybody needs to calm down
lots of teams have gone 11-1 before. there’s a long way to go. winning against Philly this weekend and wrapping up the division with all the crap that has gone on this week would be a huge statement.

Agreed
11-1 is great, but the Giants haven’t won anything yet. For that matter, the NFC East title will be great, but there is a chance for much more. Thing is, there are no guarantees.
