haha

I like the 75 words. I did not, on the other hand, like our first offensive possession

I’m supposed to be writing a paper, but I’ll be popping in and out here during the game (knowing myself, more likely in)

the words "Butler" and "great" in the same sentence

this is like the Twilight Zone…

by SBakerTheTouchdownMaker on Dec 14, 2008 8:38 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

yea, that was a weak, weak call

but does Al Michaels know what he’s talking about? Of course they’re gonna re-kick it, the first kick wasn’t very good. He thought it was up to the Giants??

I hate that call

they should get rid of it

by Hoyadestroya85 on Dec 14, 2008 8:39 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

eh

if they get rid of it, they’re gonna do what they did with the facemask penalties and make it an automatic personal foul 15 yarder. That, IMO, would be worse.

by cjmulrain on Dec 14, 2008 8:39 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

agreed

the facemask stuff has gotten absolutely ridiculous. kind of like the “blow to the head” rule (see: Terrell Suggs vs. Tennessee in Week 3).

I'm gonna say it

and hope they prove me wrong: without Jacobs and Plax, this offense isn’t that good. Both of them did so much damage to opposing defenses, losing them is a major blow.

i dont necessarily agree with that

Hixon, Smith, Manningham…that’s still a pretty good young core. then again, i don’t really see any glaring needs on this team. they could use some help at LB with Clark aging and Blackburn more suited for a backup role.

Well, 7-3 isn't bad considering

I thinking that Romo was hit a lot in the first half and will probably get stiff at halftime. Keep the pressure on. Not counting QB runs, the Giants went 8/14 run/pass and the boys went 5/18. Madden says the team that establishes a running game will win. I hope Gilbride can come up with some runs that won’t get stuffed and give Diehl some help.

well

something like lining up Ward and Bradshaw in the backfield and Eli out wide, and then doing some misdirection runs and whatnot. That’s what the Dolphins did the first time against the Pats, they didn’t really throw out of the wildcat in that game. If nobody’s expecting it stuff like that can be real successful.
