Wednesday Walk Around The League 11-5

Wednesday_walk_468_medium

Good Morning Giants fans, its Wednesday, and that means its time to take a look at some of the stories making headlines around the NFL.

Some final thoughts:

  • The Brady Quinn Era begins this week for Cleveland. Defenses the Browns face in the 2nd half: Buffalo, Tennessee, Philly, and Pittsburgh. Good luck, kid.
  • Hey Coach Del Rio, you're sweating, is that seat getting a little hot?
  • The Packers have signed Aaron Rodgers until 2014. The over/under on Brett Favre retirements between now and then is currently 3.
  • Love him or hate him, Bill Belichick may be doing some of the best coaching of his career this year.
  • Derrick Ward is having Thanksgiving dinner at my house.

i don't know if BQ

will get the job done in Cleveland.

but, what i do know from watching him four years at ND is that he’ll work his ass off.

Deangelo Hall

I really don’t know the whole story of why, however I think that is the result of a bad team, bad owner, bad coaching; and I think he could be better in other team, I don’t know, maybe the Giants, and while we are at it, I think the raiders are releasing Javon Walker as well.

This doesn't bode well for Quinn.

Getting thrown in during a short week is reminiscent of the way Dave Brown was thrown in during the middle of a Cardinals beating. They had that ferocious front back then, Brown was inserted near his own goal line, promptly broke a finger. When he came back he had happy feet. I think it ruined his career. The Browns would have been better off to pull that switch during a bye week.

We're only gonna score 17 points?

DeAngelo Hall has been relased today by the Raiders.

Probably will be a Dallas Cowboy by the end of the week.
