Report: Jacobs is fine
[UPDATE: Now Jacobs is telling reporters that he could play Sunday, but he still might not. C'mon, Brandon, which is it?]
Good news from Mike Garafolo on Brandon Jacobs' knee.
"Nothing serious," the source said. "Just swollen and sore."
Looks like 'Earth, Wind & Fire' will still be together when the Giants head to the desert this weekend.

Phew
I think I speak for everyone when I wipe my brow and just simply exhale.

WWBFD?
Maybe Tony Romo will get a hangnail and miss the rest of the season.

Speaking of Romo
I’m getting so sick of the man-love that ESPN has for the Cowboys. They win 1 game and they are the lead story on both Sportscenter & Countdown and it is the front page story on ESPN.com. While the Giants-Ravens were 2 1st place teams & the Titans are undefeated. It sickens me.

CBS Sportsline
is reporting that Brandon told the press yesterday that the team may sit him this week, so as to rest his swollen knee. Any truth in that, Ed?

I don't think
TC would hesitate, having Ward and Bradshaw – but I am at least able to sleep curled up in my woobie tonight knowing that Jacobs is okay!!!!
Thanksgiving dinners take eighteen hours to prepare. They are consumed in twelve minutes. Half-times take twelve minutes. This is not coincidence.

If there is any doubt
Let him sit – My guess is that it will be a game day decision, and if he is any less than 100%, let the day belong to Ware and Bradshaw – (hey maybe activate Ware, he looked really good in preseason)

Let Jacobs sit
Throw Arizona for a loop and start Bradshaw … any Giant fan out there not interested in seeing what he can do getting about 20 carries in a game?

Yes
I’d like to see it, but they should definitely leave Jacobs active, in case one of Gilbride’s ingenious “plow it up the middle three times” goal line strategies isn’t working.
