Well well well
that was a helluva game. Eagles fans, apologies again for anything offending I said. Besides that we can not be stopped at this point. If someone was to tell me we would beat SF, PITT, BOYS, EAGLES w/o Eli throwing for over 200 yards in any of them, I would have laughed. However, that exact thing has happened, and we are 4-0.
Its not time for us to be cocky fans, but it is time to be fully confident in this team. We haven't tripped and allowed teams like the Panthers or Eagles to close in on us. We haven't fallen back to the pack. We keep setting the bar and setting the tone. Teams have to play up to our level, no more playing at theirs.
This Ravens game SHOULD be a W. But something tells me this is more of a trap game then the Boys were a week back. But w/ no sacks tonight, our D-Line will be foaming at the mouth, to get apiece of Flacco's jersey. Remember what this squad did to our Eli a couple a years back when he was a rook; payback should be a BITCH. Go G-Men.

Trap Game
After all the good press and the monster wins. This could be another AFC Trap Game.

I don't see how
This can be called a “trap” game. The Ravens are 6-3, and scoring points out the wazoo. This is a very good football team. The Browns game, that had “trap” written all over it. This Ravens team is proving itself to possibly be the best team in the AFC North, seeing as how the Steelers have been playing of late.
But yes, I am anxious to see if Eli brings a little something extra against the Ravens, didn’t he finish with a 0 rating in a game against them?

Thank you
Im with BaltimoreBeatdown and that was a very nice comment to write. I agree, you should not overlook my Ravens at this point. Yea, we just beat the Texans, but we did it by putting up 41 points on them, and over the last 4 games have averaged 33.5 points per game. I know you all may say, “look who you have played” but we are doing that with a Rookie QB in Joe Flacco and a Rookie Runningback, Ray Rice, who put up 154 by himself on Cleveland.
You guys are a great football team, that is no secret. However, the Ravens have something rolling for them at the moment. We are not just winning football games, we are dominating them. Our defense is the best Redzone Defense in the NFL right now, 2nd best in INT’s, and many more. Did you guys know that the Ravens are ranked 12th in the League in Points Scored at 23.6 per game. That ranking compliments our #2 overall ranked defense (Behind Pitt, but forget those scrubs) and the #1 Rushing Defense in the NFL. You guys are the best at running the ball, we are the best at stopping the run.
This should be an all out battle for 60 minutes. There are going to be some very hard hits and both teams should see their fare share of big plays. Good Luck on Sunday BigBLue

RE:
My definition of trap game is different the standard. I consider it more of a game that can catch you off guard. Without the looking ahead in your schedule part.
I meant no offense by using the term.

No Offense at all.....
You guys are nothing like the A$$holes we had to deal with over at Clevelands and Pitts blogs. Just two groups of people who love their teams.

how are the giants as a comeback team over the past 2 years..i figure we need to get ahead and IF we do what kind of attack can we expect when Manning goes all pass.

comebacks
Manning is one of the best in the business. I have my issues with the guy (namely that he’ll have a lot of bad quarters 1-3), but in the 4th quarter he’s as good as they come. We’ve had a lot of comebacks over the past 2-3 seasons. I’m sure others can name them all, but the ones that stick out most in my mind are the game against the Eagles that we won in OT, and of course the Super Bowl.

Comebacks
I think by the time Eli’s done based on past performance he could gp down as one of the better 4th quarter comeback guys. How bout the Cincinnati game this year, he did what he had to and won it in overtime.
We're only gonna score 17 points?

Eli is a winner
Not pretty, no Peyton-like numbers. But he can win at crunch time.

This is true
Eli’s ability to make a comeback is not a secret anymore. The guy seems to answer the bell more times than not. And I’m not sure if other Giants fans have noticed, but what’s the largest deficit we have had to over come this year, not including the Browns game, 7 points max? And we were right in that game until the Pick Six.
For some reason, our team has developed the ability to score when necessary. Whenever a team jumps ahead of us, we march down the field and answer. We did it twice against the Eagles and once against the Browns (off the top of my head).
And let’s not forget Eli’s ability in the 2 min offense. He hasn’t had the ball in that situation in the last few games but he can do it like some of the best in the business.

ravens have a real bad habit on the other teams last possessions, whether just before half or the end of the game…it’s a weird kind of prevent i can’t figure out but teams seem to go the between the 20’s in about 1-1.5 minutes…this is rex ryans big flaw…you would do well going no huddle..that disturbs our “complex” d schemes…i can gaurantee you’ll score quickly if you have the ball just before halftime…and god forbid, at the end of a close game.

Not this year though. I think we’ve been shutting teams out in the 4th quarter doing our second half of the season winning spree..

still traumatized by Brady’s last drive when we didn’t have a lineman within 20 yards of him as he released the game winner..Scarecrow D. I hate anything that smells like prevent! Check the Jets last night-foot off pedal.
