Waiting
for next Sunday and taking it to a defense-less Cowboy's team. Let's face it, they're fans think they're going to lose. We think we are going to win. And without Tony Romo, and the slew of other injuries/baggage this team lugs around, if we lose, we will take a HUGE step back after taking very LRG ones forward.
I know everyone will tell me, don't dismiss the Boy's. But how can't I. After losing to the Seahawk's and Cardinal's, 2 "weaker" teams, and struggling against the Buc's, we should win this one by at least 10. We're healthier, we got our QB, and our D just chewed up a very imposing Steeler's team. Even outshining the NFL's best D on their home turf.
Opening the season, I would never imagined 6-1. I saw the games there to go 6-1 but actually getting to 6-1 is totally different. Our schedule is about to get a lot more harder and I fully expect Eli to have many more horrendous looking games. But when it counts, we will score to win. That game last night had SB written all over it. The defensive slugfest, sack attack on the QB sprinkled with enough offense to get the win. Not to mention the opposing QB making desperate last sec heaves downfield. Granted it wasn't Feb. but it sure had that feeling.
I just hope we are not the Boy's and peak in the regular season. However, given our guys championship pedigree, beating us at home in the playoffs should be a tall task for any NFC team. For some reason I think we will see the Panthers come playoffs. And Steve Smith scares the shit outta me. But I like the fact that our guys still have that 26-0 taste in their mouths.

Cowboys didn't lose to the Seahawks
they lost to the Skins, Cards and Rams and of course we struggled against the Bucs, Brad Johnson was our qb, your GMen would struggle too if he was under center for you guys.
I absolutely agree with you that the Giants should win this game going away with a lot of the Cowboys top players injured and out.
I know if we were healthy and you were coming to Texas Stadium with Carr as your starter, I’d feel much more confident.
That being said, the Ginats will win the game unless the Cowboys defense has another great game and we get a defensive or ST score or two. Brad will be lucky to put up 10-13 points this Sunday.
The game in December will be a much better game if both teams are relatively healthy at that point.

Hey Terry
Good post(are you feeling ok) Very good points especially in lines 3 and 6. Not used to you being less than eternally optimistic though! Chin up you still have M. Barber and ,Brad Johnson is better than you think , I hope not this week though.
We're only gonna score 17 points?

Agreed
unless your O-line reverts to 07’ Johnson is a much easier QB too smash, especially after watching what they did to a mobile Ben. I couldn’t figure out who was the other loss to and too tired to look it up but thanks for clarifying. And I only feel this confident because Romo is out. If you had all those injuries and Romo was playing I would still be a little nervous. I remember how bad he torched us last year during the regular season, and how we couldn’t get in his face. But our fortunes have gone in different directions since the regular season.
Not for nothing Terry if Carr went into Texas Stadium with our O-line, we wouldn’t be nearly as inept as BJ and the Boy’s o-line today.

I totally agree
I was just saying that if the Giants were coming into Texas Stadium starting Carr at qb instead of Eli, my confidence in winning the game would be much higher.
Brad Johnson is simply awful and thank God I only have to watch him for one more game, I can’t take much more of him.

Hey!! We've got a Terry sighting!!
Welcome back, Terry! Where were you to crap all over Eli when all the Steelers fans said that Ben is “clearly” the better QB? We expected you to be all over that.

Oh, man ...
Don’t bait Terry, please. He’s trying to be low-key. Leave it that way.

hey ,they're both good QBs with a SB ring
to me, debating who is better is pointless, they both are good.
ETVal, don’t worry about me not remaining low key, my Boys are a M.A.S.H unit and as long as we don’t get blown out by 3 or more TDs I’ll be happy.
I’m a homer but to think the Cowboys have a shot without Romo, F Jones, Kosier, possibly Witten, Spencer, Henry and Newman is just insane. The Giants would have to gift wrap the game to us which I seriously doubt will happen.
