'Behind Enemy Lines' at Fanhouse
AOL Fanhouse previews games using a segment called 'Behind Enemy Lines.' Luckily for me, I got to participate this week as I squared off with Donald Starver from Steelers Today to answer some questions from AOL's Sportz Assassin.
Be sure to check it out. I enjoyed it, and hopefully acquitted myself well.
By the way, Steelers Today weighs in on Eli Manning vs. Ben Roethlisberger with a list of 10 reasons Ben is better.

i think i'm done with the
Eli vs. Ben talk. i really don’t care if Ben or Eli throw five touchdowns and have perfect QB ratings on Sunday. all i care about is 6-1. both player are classy, both are winners, and both are going to be good quarterbacks for a long time.

Oh, I agree
it was a topic we had to cover, though. Both guys will have long, distinguished careers. Both are winners. Both fit their teams. Enough said.

5 reasons Eli's better
1) eli has been asked too do much more since entering the league, not just be a game manager.
2) Eli remains unflappable even during a pretty good beat down. How did Ben fare against Philly?
3) Eli has a bit more escapability, see the “hail Mara” or Catch 42 whatever you choose to call it. Ben’s a big target, uh I mean tough guy who is kind of a pure pocket guy.
4)Eli has faced not only the vicious NY media, assualts by TV Blabber, and the crew at ESPN with the same calm cool demeanor as is reflected on the field.
5) AND FINALLY……….MOST IMPORTANT … THE MOST DECIDING FACTOR WHY ELI’S THE BETTER QB……………ELI’S SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW WHEN TO KEEP HIS HELMET ON!
We're only gonna score 17 points?

PS
Except for #1 this was total sarcasm. Wasn’t sure it reads this way.

Well said, SB.
Inevitably, there’ll be a lot more discussion about the two QBs after Sunday’s game.

what's that saying about "... As good as the sum of it's parts"?
big Ben got handed the reigns to a damn good Pittsburgh team in his rookie season. The Giants had to build a team around Eli and now our boys are kicking butt and taking names. The only way to truly compare the two would be to have them switch teams for a year and we all know that will never happen. I agree with SBaker. Regardless of who’s better at what, both teams have a great quarterback truly deserving of the franchise tag, and hopefully we’ll see some of the most hard-nosed, entertaining football of the regular season this Sunday. (although I wouldn’t complain one bit if our boys went into Heinz field and blew them out) :P

P.S. I served Michael Keaton at my bar a few years ago...
and he just happens to be a diehard Steelers fan. Who would of guessed that?
