Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has been suspended for at least four games for his most recent violation of the league's personal conduct policy, the NFL announced Tuesday.

In announcing his decision, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Jones' "disturbing pattern of behavior was clearly inconsistent with the conditions I set for your continued participation in the NFL."

Good for Goodell

Taking the hard stand. Peter King said in his column yesterday that Qbert might get a game or two, which I thought was absurd. If you suspend a guy for a year, then 6 weeks after you reinstate him, he proves he hasn’t learned his lesson, what good is one game going to do? In the next 4 weeks, somebody ought to take Dig Dug to the prison to visit Lawrence Phillips, and see how fast it can all go away when you make the wrong choices.

Wow.

I am so surprised that Pacman found himself in trouble only 6 weeks into the season. Super surprised. How could this ever happen?

Honestly though. I hope the kid gets his head on straight before he gets in worse trouble. He has a ton of talent.

I really think

there is no help for this guy, The stories from the strip club incident are extremely disturbing and illustrate how psycho this guy is.

Sad, I wish I had any talent at all so I could waste it somewhere.

On the Cowboys note

they traded for Roy Williams today. For 4 picks, including a 1st rounder?!?! For a position that they really didn’t need help in? Someone please tell me how this makes sense. It looks to me what they really need is to shore up that D instead.

no idea!

Seems really strange with witten, hurd, crayton and TO. Oh yeah and barber and felix Jones (out for 4 weeks) but still. Not enough balls to go around that team. They gave up alot to get him. I think DET made a great trade.
