Ok, so my wife just bought what I think is a pretty sweet looking Giants hat. I prefer to have the NY logo myself. Interestingly, enough I finally a Lids in DC that had a ton of Giants hats. I wondered why, until I walked in, and saw an employee dressed head-to-toe in Giant's gear. (In case anyone in the area is wondering, it was the Lids in Tyson's Corner).

What I don't get, is why the logo says "1950" on it. As far as I know Mara bought the franchise in 1925. Every other hat I have says "Est. 1925". Can anyone shine any significance on this?
