Around SBN: Dana White Announces Koscheck vs. Hendricks for UFC on FOX

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a broken pinkie on his throwing hand and will be out four weeks, a team source told ESPN's Michael Smith. 'Kudos' to 'Greek' for pointing that out to me as soon as he saw it.
BTW, gang, let's not gloat too much about this. Let's have a little class. And, let's remember we are one big hit away from the David Carr Era ourselves.

Too bad

That’s actually too bad. Now when we beat the Cowgirls, they’ll have an excuse.

No excuses

The Giants beat them last year with Romo. I honestly think Romo is overrated, more celebrity than substance.

I can’t WAIT to see the reaction to that statement.

ouch

I don’t feel bad for the Cowboys, but I do feel bad for myself, since Romo has been carrying my fantasy team. Oh, well, time to see what Jason Campbell’s got….

well...

So much for my post earlier. The division is ours for the taking. If we go 3-1 with the Browns 9ers Steelers and Romoless Boys, we’ll be at 7-1 while our ‘scariest’ division foe (Boys’) is at least with 3 losses 2 within the division. We’re gunna HOST SOME PLAYOFF GAMES!!!! Finally. Anyone agree, providing we stay healthier than the rest of the league?

Home playoff games

not sure I want one! Last time we hosted a playoff game was 2 years ago against Carolina. I went to that game, and it was the worst sporting event I had ever attended live until I went to Tom Glavine’s 1/3 of an inning 7 ER abortion on the last day of the Mets 2007 collapse.

Understood

But this is not the same Giants team. We’re a, omg im gunna wirte this, “powerhouse”. What’s funny is if we lock up the 1st seed with a bye, by the time we play the Panthers, it will be fun to watch our team go out there and play all our staters. And considering how many key players were there for that loss there will be no tapping on the breaks for that game. Full steam ahead.

Romo

Isn’t Romo likely to be back by the Dallas game

Romo

If he is gone for four weeks, then no. Dallas is in three weeks.

I am going to the Dallas-Rams game

this Sunday. If the G-Men win tonight (and they should), I may be able to talk a little trash—oh, and maybe there will be a good game going on, too. lol

We're gonna STOMP you out!

Romo injury

Honestly, while I dislike the cowboys, I had hoped to play them at full strength. Win or lose, the rivalry is great and one of the best games to watch every season.

I am sure Brad Johnson will still be able to guide this team to a good record given the number of weapons they have on offense. He can manage an offense well even in his advanced age and his good decision making will put the cowboys in place to win games. I doubt they have the wide margins of victory that Romo would sometimes produce for them

Given Romo’s great ability to run the cowboys offense, his poor decision making in certain situations kept other teams in the game more often than they should have. He is a great QB, not elite yet.

I definitely do not think this is then end of the Cowboys chance at winning this division and can only hope that news like this does not go to not make the GMEN complacent. As we saw this weekend, parity still exists in the NFL and no game is a gimme. The NFC East is good, but not as elite as people had been thinking even a week ago.

Now lets see the Giants go out tonight and extend the division lead before they have to face the meat of their schedule.

Lets Go GMEN. Blowout the Browns tonight.
