On this day in 1994: LT's 56 is retired
On October 10, 1994, the Giants officially retired Lawrence Taylor's number. Here is a little look back at LT, who will always be my favorite Giant:
Warning, the "Theismann" clip is on this video, so if you've eaten in the last hour or so, you may want to digest before watching

Me too man
Those were exciting days. Great team, great players the best half time show was in the circles (without cheap see through banners) and I was young enough to enjoy it!………..Good times.

holy crap
i just watched like half an hour, literally, of LT clips. i dont care how much stripper and blow he ran through, LT can do whatever he wants. he is a champion. effing champion.
There was no one better
I still say he was the greatest player to ever play the game. He changed the way the position was played, and he changed the way offense was played. Offenses were redesigned to stop LT.

I love LT
and I never even got to watch him in his prime (though he was still damn good when I started following football). I actually just got my throwback LT jersey in the mail today, can’t wait to break it out for the game tomorrow night!
