BBV answers questions from Hogs Haven

SB Nation's NFC East bloggers have started a little feature we'll call 'Five Questions With.'

Today at Hogs Haven you can read my answers to five questions from Will over at HH, our top-notch Washington Redskins blog.

Tuesday, here at BBV, you can catch a 'Five Questions With' segment featuring questions answered by our buddy Jason over at Bleeding Green Nation, our fine Philadelphia Eagles Blog.

Wednesday, I'll run Will's answers to my five questions about the Redskins.

If these segments are well-received, maybe I'll reach out to other SB Nation bloggers and see if we can cover a few more teams before training camps open.

I think this is an outstanding idea
and appreciated you letting me get involved, even if my answers were largely incoherent rants.

know what drives me crazy about these QB lists?
is that i spend all my time actually defending donovan mcnabb, who i hate but i respect.  maybe its cause ive seen him carve up my jints for the past 8 seasons or so.  anyways, any QB list that doesnt have mcnabb in the top ten (healthy or not) is a complete joke.  on one leg he's 500 times better than jon kitna.

and please explain to me how cutler is 10th and leinart with boldin/fitzgerald/edge is 18th???

and i hate to do this because i HATE being a homer.  i try really hard to be objective.  but maybe the guys at BGN or hogs heaven will back me up.  i think you have to be completely shitting me to put eli behind jp fucking losman and matt schaub.  i mean lets be serious.  thats just ridiculous.  even look at the stats - eli has thrown for more yards than anyone outside the top four not named brett favre.  he also has as many or more wins than anyone besides peyton/brady/hasslebeck.  eli has struggled and he takes alot of heat but you cant possibly argue that losman is, or will be, a better QB than eli. no fucking way.  also i love how eli has a "4" for intangibles.  rex grossman has better intangibles?  really?  you mean when he's not turning the ball over six times a game?

sorry for the language.  im gonna have to stop drinking so much coffee at work in the morning.

Frankly
I would have put Eli Manning in the pro bowl over Tony Romo last year. I don't think either really had a true pro bowl season, but Manning deserved it more than Romo.

and you agree that
mcnabb should be in the top 10 right?

i mean, before the injury last year he was on his way to a possible MVP.

Pro Bowl
Don't know about that. For about six games, Romo was the Flavor of the Month. I don't think either of them deserved it, to be honest.

Hey, Touchdown
Drink all the coffee you want. I love it when you get worked up. Eli ranked below some of these guys is an absolute friggin' joke. He's not Peyton, but for crying out loud he's a good QB who is in the top half of starters in the league. At this point, he's better than Favre, Schaub, Vick, Delhomme, Losman and you have to be kidding me with Jon Kitna. That's ridiculous. What it comes down to is Peter King seems to bend over backward to stick it to the Giants, and I just don't think he's credible with anything he says about them.

i agree
on delhomme and a couple others as well.  i think even non-giants fans would have to agree that they would take eli over either schaub or losman.  hell, even the buffalo rumblings would agree with that.
